Who we are...
Fall Mountain Productions is a video production company located in Bellows Falls, Vermont. Suzanne Groenewold, a videographer, editor, producer, and systems coordinator, founded the company twelve years ago. Today Suzanne and her husband David work with a group of video professionals specializing in shooting, editing, and marketing of high end video products and digital media.
Fall Mountain Productions offers a full range of services including scripting, story boarding, voice-over work, shooting, lighting, audio, editing, graphics, and visual effects. Our resume features freelance work for national broadcast networks, production of live programming and simulcast events, development of historical videos, educational videos, documentaries, training videos, corporate videos, and television commercials. In the course of ten years in business, Fall Mountain Productions has acquired hundreds of images of stock video. In March 2002, the company launched a new division called New England Stock Footage as an avenue to market scenic New England footage on the Internet.
What we work with...
In the video production business the best products come from the best equipment. An important question for you to ask other companies offering video services is what equipment they use. Fall Mountain Productions uses state-of-the-art digital cameras and editing equipment and advanced technology for animation and other graphic enhancements. Our trousseau is filled with traditional BetaCam, DVCAM and HD packages, as well as POV, and underwater cameras.
How we work with our clients...
We are committed to exceeding your expectations and delivering a product that will accomplish all the goals you set. With that in mind, we believe in working closely with the client during all the phases of production. The collaboration begins with an early pre-production meeting. During the meeting, the scope of the project is discussed including rates and creative services. Then a proposal is drawn up and submitted to the client for review. Once a contract agreement is reached, work on scripting begins. Clients are asked to submit talking points and technical information for longer length videos. Completion of a script worksheet is required for clients of shorter video projects. Fall Mountain Productions will deliver a draft script to the client for feedback and revisions. When the script is finalized, shoot dates are scheduled. Editing begins once all the footage is obtained. Clients are shown a draft of the program and are given several opportunities for input and changes.
